Time to make comfort food to share with neighbours, and pack for work lunches.
I started with this: https://www.whiskaffair.com/chicken-vindaloo/
Yes, when I was done, it looked just like the pictures

I had a bunch of blanched/frozen cauliflower left from last year which needed to be used. So I made a batch of this to go with the chicken vindaloo: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/food ... pe-2104976
A Lovely veg recipe, I add a bit more turmeric (magic food) and a bit more Kashmiri Chili powder in place of the cayenne- 1/2 tsp gives great flavour without taking the heat over the top.

Made up a batch of steamed basmati rice to go with-- 2 cups dry rice, about 3 1/2 cups water.
There, 8 very tasty (450-460g) meals made, after I divided it all up in containers using my indispensable digital kitchen scale.
Why not cook real food, and have some fun doing it, eh? Only other note- I avoid using vegetable oil at all cost, because it is really not healthy for you at all. even Olive oil, I avoid. I make Ghee from real butter: http://thehealthyfoodie.com/homemade-ghee/
I always have a jar on hand and use it for all my cooking that calls for frying in fat. Ghee is wonderful stuff.
there that's all, night folks
