Music Can Be So Gay
Posted: Mon Jun 12, 2017 5:10 pmI lived through the time when one could be fired because one was "thought" to be odd. And yes I was fired. And when I was 16 I was told by the High School Principal to never come back to school again. Reason? Seems they thought I was odd.
And then came the breakthrough. Then came the time we could be ourselves. While there are still some who believe it's a choice.....It is not! And I don't believe one can change.
Music was part of that breakthrough. Part of that started in music.
Remember - "But I know what I am and I'm glad I'm a man And so is Lola. Some of us were in on the secret very early on...."
