British singer Boy George lands in Toronto as he promotes his latest album, This is What I Do. The album was released late last year and features the lead single, “My God.” Boy George rose to fame as the frontman of New Wave group Culture Club in 1981. They are perhaps best known for their songs “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me” and “Karma Chameleon.” He started his solo career in 1987 and has released a total of nine studio albums. His latest was well received with The Guardian calling it “the comeback of the year.”
This is the only Canadian date on his North American tour.
